Worth a visit

During this walk, you will pass the neo-Gothic church at Navilly and the Romanesque churchat Pontoux.

Less than 2 km from this circular route, we come to the Grand Étang de Pontoux, a sensitive natural area that is home to the largest concentration of herons in Burgundy and is a prime natural site for migratory birds. The interpretive trail, partly on wooden decking, allows you to discover the life of the pond, and the shelter at the end of the trail enables you to observe the birds in complete privacy.

400 m from the start of this walk, you will find the Navilly Bridge. Built at the end of the 18th century by Émiland Gauthey, a renowned Burgundian engineer, this engineering structure, listed as a historic monument, is remarkable. We invite you to admire these magnificent arches and vaults overlooking the Doubs.
