The start of the circular route is in front of Mont-lès-Seurre town hall, near the church. Easy parking nearby.
(S/E) Take the road leading towards the church (behind the town hall), then at the first junction take the path on the right. Walk past a farm and you will soon reach a grassy path. Continue straight on for 800 metres until you reach the second path on the left (between the fields) at Le Chasse-Canards.
(1) Continue to the left then straight on for 850 metres.
(2) Leave the grassy path to reach a stony track at La Pissoire. Turn right and follow the track for 400 metres.
(3) At the junction, keep left for 550 metres. At the junction, take the road on the right, which leads back into the village centre. Continue straight on for 200 metres.
(4) Head towards the town hall and take the first road on the left (opposite the town hall) to head towards the church.
(5) Walk past the church in Charnay-lès-Chalon (glazed tiles) then take Rue Bourgeoise opposite, followed by Rue de la Chapelle. After 500 metres, you’ll come to a chapel.
(6) Take the D154 on the left towards the exit of the village of Charnay-lès-Chalon and, after 200 metres, take the road on the left. Continue straight on for 2.5 km to reach the hamlet of Chazelle.
(7) Follow the Saône on your right for 250 metres to reach the launch site. Continue straight on, then turn right onto the Chazelle road for 900 metres until you reach the crossroads at the edge of the hamlet.
(8) Continue straight on for 900 metres.
(9) Before the railway line, at a place called Méchin, take the path on the right for 800 metres.
(10) Cross the road and continue along the path for 450 metres to reach the village of Mont-lès-Seurre.
(11) Take Rue du Bourg on the right (towards the village centre) for 300 metres, then turn left onto a path that descends towards the Doubs for 800 metres.
(12) At the junction at the end of the path, turn right for 300 metres. At Pré de Loserot, continue straight on this path for 650 metres. It curves naturally to the right and leads to the church and then the town hall (S/E).
