Go to the visitor car park north of the village of La Garde-Adhémar.
(S/E) Go down the steps to the right of the north gate of the ramparts and walk around the west side of the village via Chemin de Malpassé. At the bottom, go down the D572. At the end of this straight road, a hole in the low wall gives access to a staircase and then a small path leading back to the D572. Cross it very carefully, follow it to the right for about 50 metres, then continue downhill to the left along Chemin de la Côte. You will arrive at a three-way junction.
(1) Follow the wide, level track on the left to the hiking signpost (signposted small pass and Cuves Lapidaires).
(2) Turn right, briefly onto a wide path, then onto a small, slightly steep path, continuing straight ahead and following the yellow signs. You will arrive at the small pass, a crossroads of several tracks.
(3) Leave the leftmost track and follow the level path to the left of the ridge (signposted Collet and Cuves Lapidaires). Take care not to stray from the path. After a large rock formation on the right, a small plywood sign indicates the first stone basin, which is clearly visible from the path on the right (the IGN reference is roughly at this point but incorrectly to the left of the path). Another basin is signposted and visible a little further on. You will arrive at the Carrefour des Cuves Lapidaires signpost.
(4) Continue straight ahead towards Val des Nymphes. Two other stone basins are indicated shortly afterwards (see the brief return trip on the route). Follow the yellow markings. You will arrive at a wide path that joins a car park on the left. Follow the D472 again to the left until you reach the hairpin bend on the left that leads to Val des Nymphes. Make the round trip to the chapel and the spring, a magical place.
(5) Then continue down the D472. Pass the art centre and, after a short climb, you will reach the hiking signpost.
(6) Leave the road and take the small path on the left. Follow it (signposted) until you reach the tarmac road (Chemin des Charines).
(7) Climb up to the village via this street on the right, walk through it at your leisure and then return to the car park (S/E).
