Park in the car park on the Esplanade du 28 juin 1944, turn right at the roundabout at the entrance to Beaufort-Sur-Gervanne when coming from the south. At the end of the Esplanade on the north side, there is a sign and map of the GTV and a signpost for Beaufort-Sur-Gervanne.

(S/E) At the Beaufort-Sur-Gervanne signpost, turn right onto the street running along the ramparts below towards Vaugelas and Pont Bossu. After two hairpin bends and a straight stretch, the street becomes a road and crosses the Gervanne at Pont Bossu, signpost.
(1) Continue along the road for about 100 metres after Pont Bossu until you reach a path on the left. Leave the road and take this path towards Les Seux. After about 300 metres in a pine forest, at the fork, take the path going up to the right. Continue until you reach another fork, signpost for Les Seux.
(2) Take the path on the right towards Fontaine des Buis, do not take the path towards Côte Belle. You will soon reach a wide path. Turn left, then left again at the next fork. This is followed by a very straight section between the fields heading south-east. Stay on Chemin de La Fontaine des Buis, turn right at the wide crossroads with a path coming in from the left, be careful as there are some trees in the middle of the crossroads. You will arrive at the signpost for Fontaine des Buis with a house below.

(3) Turn right towards Vaugelas, do not take the direction of Côte Belle, and leave the yellow markings n°120. Continue and pass above the house, leaving the path for a trail on the left that leads to the ridge.
Orange and blue markings
(4) Leave theGR® 9 and turn left to follow the ridges. Continue along the path, ignoring the paths or trails on the left. After passing a ruin on the right, you will come to a wide path on the right. Ignore it and continue along the ridge for another 40 metres until you reach a junction of wide paths and a signpost. Continue straight ahead on the ridge towards Eygluy.

You will come to a fork and a signpost for Côte Belle. Continue straight ahead towards Eygluy until you reach another fork with a path descending to the right, heading south-east.
(5) Take it on the right. Enjoyable descent , but be careful not to walk too close to the right-hand side at a marked spot due to the risk of collapse and falling. Arrive at a field on the left, directional signpost and start of a path on the left.
No markings
(6) Take this path on the left, walk along the top of the field and then cross a second field before joining the D 240 road at La Petite Morouse.

Turn left at the road and at the signpost above the houses of La Petite Morouse, continue along the main path on the left towards Eygluy. After several hairpin bends, you will come to a fork and the La Petite Morouse signpost with a large cairn.
(7) Turn right towards Eygluy via Raffignac. Continue climbing on the main path, pass above the ruins of Raffignac and reach a fork at a small pass.
(8) Turn left and descend to the D 590a road. Turn right onto the road. After a hairpin bend below Les Tourniers, you will reach a crossroads.

Turn left onto Chemin d'Eylu and head for Col de Véraut.

(9) Take the path on the right, signposted "no access except for authorised persons", barrier about 20 metres away, yellow and green markings crossed out, which goes around Merly on the right. Ignore all paths leading off to the left, the first one leads to the pylon. After the eastern slope of Merly, turn onto the northern slope. After a wide chicane on a slight descent, leave the path on the left, then at the next junction, go straight ahead. Another 50 metres further on, there is another fork.
(10) Go right, heading south. The path 150 metres further on passes a shelter and heads straight south. Ignore all paths leading off to the right. The path then turns at a right angle, heading due east. Arrive at Eygluy. Continue straight through the village and, at the D 590, turn right onto Chemin du Col de Véraut.

Pass a shelter on the left with a table and bench and a drinking water pump, and shortly before the church, you will find the start of a path on the right (direction sign).
(11) Take this path on the right towards Beaufort-Sur-Gervanne. After a short descent and crossing a small stream, the path joins the D 590. Follow the road until you reach a path on the left.
(12) Take this path and continue along it, ignoring all paths leading off to the right or left. Leave Combe de Laye for Ravin de Belet, which is better exposed. Continue, ignoring the paths on the left. At Les Lyonnais, the path goes around the house on the left. Pass the house, take the path to the right of the access road to the property, and join the signpost at the new junction with the road.
(13) Continue straight ahead, still heading towards Beaufort-Sur-Gervanne. After about 900 m and a left-hand bend, you will arrive at Pont Bossu.

(1) Cross the bridge and take the path on the left, which after a short, slightly steep climb, arrives below the ramparts. Then turn right and rejoin the outward route and the car park at the start (S/E).
