Access: RD6015 then Rue de la Recette, Rue Robine.

(S/E) With your back to the car park, turn left into Rue Robine, then further on, turn left into Rue du Manoir.
(1) At the well, turn left onto Rue de l'Ombre. Turn right onto Chemin Pileux. Cross the road and turn right (at the corner of the fence) onto a path leading into the undergrowth.
(2) When you reach the houses, turn left onto a path between two fences, go through a gate and follow this path downhill to Lormais on the banks of the Seine. This is theGR®2, marked in white and red.
(3) Turn left and follow the road along the river. Further on, leave the road and follow a lane still along the Seine and alongside light dwellings.
(4) At Ferme de Bellengault, turn left, cross the railway line at the level crossing and climb up through the valleys. Follow the path to rejoin the road.
(5) Turn left and continue straight ahead towards a small road that later becomes a path. At the intersection near the houses, continue straight ahead on Rue de la Croix Roger. Find the start of a path on the left at the corner of a meadow.
(6) Turn left onto this small path and continue to the entrance to the woods. Take a path on the right and continue to the pond known as "puante" (stinky). Continue straight ahead and join Rue de la Croix Roger.
(7) Turn left onto this street, then at the next intersection, turn right and cross the Verger de la Recette to reach the car park (S/E).
but then the banks of the Seine are very beautiful.
