Parking - starting point: Oletta municipal car park, Corso José Luccioni, road D38.
Other parking - possible starting point: Saint-François Convent car park. Then follow Strada di u Cunventu for 200m to start the route at point no. 2.
Markings along the route: yellow paint, white/red barrier tape and cairns. Signage: wooden and iron signs.
(S/E) Leave the village car park and walk up the D38 for about 30 metres. Take the path on the left down towards the convent. At the T-junction, turn right. Shortly afterwards, at the next junction, turn right towards the convent via Mersulaccia.
(1) At the Mersulaccia fountain, continue straight ahead towards the convent. Reach the low point of Strada di u Cunventu, then turn left, following the sign for "Mont Tuda". After about 100 metres, cross a small bridge and you will come to a fork.
(2) Take the right-hand lane, then the communal path and rejoin Strada di u Cunventu. Continue to the right until you reach a superb shepherd's shelter. Continue to the right towards "Tuda - D82 - Piedalbuccio" and reach the D82 road.
(3) Cross very carefully at the pedestrian crossing and walk uphill for about 100 metres. Then turn right onto Via di Piedalbuccio and follow it for about 100 metres before turning right down Via Sampieru. Take thesecond alley on the left, Stradella di u Loriu Rossu, for about 50 metres.
(4) Take the path that descends to the right between two properties. Continue to the signpost for "Piedalbuccio" then turn left, crossing the Vitte stream. Go up the path and continue to the hamlet car park.
(5) Go down Via di Piedalbuccio for about 100 metres, then turn right onto Stradella di a Teppa. After about 50 metres, look for the passage on the right that leads to the municipal path towards "Tuda". Follow it to the end.
(6) At the end of the municipal path, turn left, go through the opening of an old gate and take the path that climbs to the right towards "Tuda". After 500 metres at the crossroads, turn left and begin the final climb to Mount Tuda.
(7) At the summit, after the calvary and the antennas, take the track that descends. After a wide right-hand bend, continue to the right towards "Village-D82". Join the junction with the D82 road.
(8) Descend the D82 on the left for about 50 metres. Turn left into a field and follow the signs for "Stade - Oletta - Couvent". Descend the communal path under the canopy of vegetation to the lowest point, at the cemetery fence.
(9) Leave the fence on your left and turn right. The communal path then passes between beautiful properties, crosses the Ruisseau de la Concia stream and climbs back up towards the D82. Cross the D82 carefully. Climb up opposite via the Stretta di u Cirnu. At the top of the stairs, turn right onto Carrughju René Massigli.
(10) At the highest point, turn left onto Corsu Marinacce-Cavallacce and cross the village of Oletta to the church square. Descend the stairs on the left at Espace Maria Ghjentile.
