Start at the Plage de la Madrague car park.
(S/E) Leave the car park onto the Promenade Victor Mendiboure, which runs alongside the beach, and head north-east towards La Barre.
(1) When you reach the banks of the Adour, turn right onto the path that runs alongside the river.
(2) At the marina, continue along the quay.
(3) Turn right along Avenue de l’Adour, then take the first left into Allée Louis de Foix.
(4) Turn right into Allée Belharra, which runs alongside the Lazaret, the forest from which it takes its name. Continue straight ahead along the Promenade du Prince Impérial until you enter the Lazaret forest. Follow the Voie verte du Prince Impérial, which runs along the edge of the forest beside the Adour.
(5) Turn left onto Avenue de l'Adour, then take the first right onto Allée de l'Église.
(6) Turn left onto Allée de l’Empereur, then immediately take the first right onto Allée de l’Esquiro, which continues into the Pignada Forest near the Blancpignon cemetery.
(7) Turn left, heading south, to approach the Pignada Sports Centre.
(8) Turn right to join the Montbrun Greenway.
(9) Take the greenway on the right, heading north. It makes a wide circular loop before running alongside the Promenade de la Barre.
(10) Cross the Promenade de la Barre and take Avenue de la Forêt opposite to reach Boulevard des Plages.
(11) Turn left, continue to the roundabout, then turn right onto Avenue de la Madrague to return to the car park (S/E).
