Park at the Cité de l'Océan.
(S/E) Head east towards the Cité de l'Océan building. Walk alongside the building and go round the roundabout with a sculpture to take Avenue de la Milady. At the next roundabout, head towards the Espace Naturel Mouriscot
(1) Take Allée Gabrielle Dorziat. Cross the car park to take the path opposite heading south-east. At the T-junction, turn left.
(2) Turn right onto the path until you reach a Y-junction.
(3) Turn right to begin the walk around the lake. The path leads onto Rue de Mouettes.
(4) Walk along the residential area on the lake shore until you reach Rue Chiquito de Cambo.
(5) Head downhill to the left towards the youth hostel.
(6) Return along the path that circles the lake to the original Y-junction.
(3) Take the path back the way you came to return to the car park (S/E).
