Description of the walk

Park in the Floride car park, situated on the banks of the Nive below the Centre Hospitalier de la Côte Basque. Saint-Léon site, Avenue Raoul Follereau.

(S/E) Cross the Pont Blanc bridge over the River Nive and join the Chemin d’Ansot.

(1) Turn right onto the Chemin d’Ansot, which heads towards the riverbank and runs alongside it.
Follow the riverbank, pass the Maison des Barthes, go under the A63, go round the hamlet of Merluenea and continue to the next house.
Continue along the Chemin de la Carrière until you come to a path that leads back towards the riverbank.

(2) Turn right to take a short break in the shade of the tall trees along the banks of the Nive.

(3) Turn round and head back along the same path to the car park (S/E).
