The distillery tour starting from L’Ermitage

Park in the car park in front of the Maguy Fleurs garden centre.

(S/E) Take the Chemin des Verdillières and head towards the hamlet of Chez Bellot. Walk through the hamlet and continue left onto the tarmac road known as Chemin des Bernardières, then take the first stony track on the right between the vineyards. Continue along this track for approximately 250 metres. Turn left and, 100 metres further on, head right until you reach the next junction, where you should turn right again and enter the woodland.

(1) Then take the signposted path on the right and follow it until you reach the small tarmac road. Take this road to the right, then, at the pylon, turn left onto the stony path.

(2) Walk past the pylon and carry on until you reach the Chemin Grelot. Turn right. Cross the Route de la Croix Échelle and head towards the Maine Senouche farm.

(3) Walk past the farm and take the stony track that leads into the woods. Carry on straight ahead until you reach the tarmac Chemin du Montinet. Turn left onto the Chemin du Montinet, then right onto the tarmac Chemin de Senouche and head up to the Paul Bossuet distillery.

(4) Walk past the entrance to the Paul Bossuet distillery and continue along the Chemin de Senouche until you reach the crossroads. Take the stony path opposite, which leads downhill and into the woods. You’ll reach the tarmac road.

(5) Turn right onto Chemin Cluseau. Turn left onto the last stony track that leads into the vineyards before Chemin de Terre Neuve. Then take the first track on the right and carry on straight ahead along the rows of vines to reach the tarmac-surfaced Chemin des Bernardières. Turn left, then turn right onto Place de chez Ferret.

(6) Cross the square towards the houses at the far end, then pass between the houses and take the track that leads down into the valley. Continue until you reach the tarmac Chemin de Nancrevant. Turn left until you reach the Clos de Nancrevant distillery.

(7) Retrace your steps and carry on straight ahead. At the crossroads, take the tarmac Chemin du Cluseau directly opposite.

(8) Turn off onto the^second stony track on the left and carry on straight ahead until you reach the road. Turn right onto the road to return to the car park of the Maguy Fleurs horticultural centre (S/E).
