The route starts at the former Sperl Forest House in Lutzelhouse, which can be reached via Rue du Heyde and Rue du Sperl.
(S/E) Take the path running alongside the former forester’s house, following the Yellow Saltire markings, and arrive at a crossroads after crossing the Eimerbaechel stream.
(1) Turn left onto the Route forestière de l'Eimerbach (GR®53 Red Rectangle), passing the Marcel sculpture, and follow this track along the stream for about 2 km. Pass two other sculptures before reaching the Grotte du Loup at the foot of a climb.
(2) Keep to the left and continue uphill on the GR®53 until you reach a junction.
(3) Turn left and walk for about 150 m until you reach a left-hand bend.
(4) Take the path on the right, still following the GR®, and reach the Kappelbronn forest road. Turn left onto this road. Pass a fourth sculpture and the giant sequoia, then continue southwards to the Carrefour du Partage.
(5) Note the fifth sculpture, then head left onto the Kegelplatz forest road for 200 m.
(6) At the junction, take the path on the right marked ‘Green Ring’ which leads to Kegelplatz.
(7) Continue straight ahead (Green Ring) and, after a few dozen metres, keep to the right. Pass in front of a sixth sculpture and the Chêne de la Vierge. Continue along this path until, after a hairpin bend to the right, you reach the junction with the Route Forestière du Grassweg.
(8) Leave the Green Ring trail, turn left and follow this forest road (Yellow Ring). You will reach the large crossroads at the place known as "Les Deux Chênes".
(9) Continue straight on along the Grassweg to the car park at the former Sperl Forest House (S/E).
