Park in the car park of the playground below the church and cemetery in Loubens.
(S/E) Head up towards the D11 and its roundabout. Turn right onto Route de Rieux then immediately left (sign and yellow markings). Climb between the meadows and follow the fence on your right. When you reach a flat area, keep to the right, continuing along the same fence, and descend briefly to reach a local road.
(1) Go up it on the left until you pass Porteteny and, after barely 200 metres, you will find a track on the left (sign).
(2) Leave the road and take the wide track, climbing through the undergrowth to a flat pass where the view opens up over the Escosse and Pamiers plains. Continue on the left, and the Pech antennas come into view, making the route obvious among the ferns. A final climb takes you to the highest point of the hike at Pech de Limouzy.
(3) Continue along the summit ridge on the grassy track, keeping the fence on your left, and descend to the ruins and the Col de l'Habit.
(4) Pass the ruins, look for a large green cistern on the right and descend via the track on the left. Please note: halfway down, after about 700 m and just before a hairpin bend to the right, you need to leave this track on the left. A sign marks this junction.
(5) Continue along a path marked in yellow. When you come out onto a meadow, continue to the right until you reach a large oak tree with a huge mark on it. Head left, at the bottom of the embankment, to find the markers a little further on, then continue downhill and go through a small gate.
The route is now clear and passes through a magnificent tunnel of vegetation. At the junction with a faint track, continue straight ahead to reach a small local road.
Turn left, enter the centre of Loubens, then left again to reach the car park of the playground below the church and cemetery of Loubens (S/E).
