Le Morne-Rouge walks

A beautiful circular hike through vegetation typical of Martinique, with splendid tropical flowers. Weather permitting, at the summit you will have a beautiful panorama of the Carbet ridges and a view of Mount Pelée. Allow between 4 and 5 hours to complete this hike.

The climb will reward you with breathtaking views of the island in good weather. Allow six hours, not three hours and 35 minutes as calculated automatically by the software.

Mount Pelée is rarely free of clouds, but that's no problem. The hike I suggest takes you up to the Caldera, where you can enjoy views of Saint-Pierre and Le Prêcheur. The well-maintained path is relatively easy despite the steep slope and rocky sections, and steps make the going easier.

A hike along a very easy path, following an old irrigation canal. It allows you to discover the lush tropical vegetation and offers beautiful views of the Pitons du Carbet massif. On the Caravelle Peninsula, this short route will allow you to discover the mangrove, a very special environment where the forest extends over the sea.
