Park in the large car park at Pré des Masques, on the edge of the D232.
(S/E) At the junction of the car park and the D232, take theGRP® Autour du Luberon trail and enter a boxwood hedge. Quickly begin an easy descent to reach a crossroads.
(1) Leave theGRP® here and turn right onto the yellow-markedPR®. Continue along a series of small ascents and descents to reach a crossroads with an unmarked trail. Take it on the left and you will quickly reach the Baume de l'Eau.
(2) Return to the crossroads and continue left on thePR®, then begin a slightly steep descent. Walk alongside a climbing site and reach the Aigue Brun river. Cross it via the stone bridge.
(3) Here you have two options:
- continue straight ahead to reach a crossroads at the Aiguebrun signpost, then turn left to follow the river,
- Turn left immediately to follow the left bank of the Aigue Brun. This is the route shown on the map, but be aware that you will have to climb a section that may be difficult for some people.
Continue uphill to reach a crossroads.
(4) Continue to the right, still uphill, and follow thePR® and its yellow markings to reach the village of Sivergues.
(5) Quickly walk around the village, then continue on the wide track opposite the car park. This is theGRP® again, which quickly becomes a path. Descend to cross the Aigue Brun again. You will soon come to the crossroads you passed on the way there.
(1) Retrace your steps in the opposite direction and, after an easy climb, you will reach the Pré des Masques car park (S/E).
