The Ardoisières Route between Rochefort-en-Terre and Malansac

The route starts from the Étang du Moulin Neuf car park.

(S/E) Join the^PR®® route towards Étang du Moulin Neuf.

(1) Turn right onto this route towards Rochefort-en-Terre, following the yellow markings. Cross the D777 and arrive at Pont aux Roux.

(2) Turn right, walking alongside a stream on your right, still on the PR®®^trail.

(3) Leave the^GR®®38, which heads up to the left, and continue towards the village of Rochefort-en-Terre, keeping straight on the PR®^®.

(4) At the junction with the D774, continue straight on along La Magdeleine. You are now following the^GR®®38/ Route des Pins markings. Head up towards the prehistoric park and rejoin a small road.

(5) Follow it to the right, then go round the prehistoric park, keeping to the right until you reach the D134.

(6) Then turn left onto the D134 for 100 m, then follow the^GR®®38along the forest track until you reach a small road.

(7) At the junction towards Bois Grignon, leave the Route des Pins, which turns right, and turn left onto the small road to rejoin the^GR®®3850 m further on by turning right. Continue straight on along the^GR®®38on the small road until you reach the hamlet of Chez Benêt.

(8) Continue straight on along the path, following the^GR®®38markings. Carry on straight ahead, passing the Ancien Couvent du Bodélio on your left, and reach the hamlet of Le Gravier.

(9) At the crossroads, turn right towards the Chez Charles farm, a pig farm. Follow the^GR®®38for about 1.5 km, continuing along the road and leaving the farm on your left.

(10) At the hamlet of Izagnon, marked by the^GR®®38signposts, head up to the right towards the forest.

(11) Once at the top of the slope, leave the^GR®®38by turning right onto a forest track. Continue along the track to the Ruisseau de Bodélio.

(12) At the stream, keep slightly to the left, following the schist wall of the Parc du Bodélio for about 2 km. When you reach the junction with the road, turn left, continuing to follow the schist wall towards the park entrance, the Porte de Fer.

(13) At the entrance, continue straight on, following the signposts for the Route des Pins.

(14) When you reach a wash house, turn left and head up towards the hamlet of La Ville aux Fèves, following the road for about 300 m.
Turn right, continuing to follow the Route des Pins path.

(15) Turn left towards Le Rohéran (still on the Route des Pins). At the first junction after 500 m, turn right towards the centre of Malansac, joining Rue du Fourmiret. Then turn right towards the church.

(16) At the church, turn right then immediately left onto Rue de Gueneol. Cross the village of Malansac, following the Route des Pins signposts.

(17) Leave the square by heading straight on along Rue de la Prévotais. Cross the D21 and continue straight on along Bois Guiho. After about 150 m, take the first left, still following the Circuit des Pins signposts. Continue along the road, skirting the railway line, then head up to the right, continuing along the Circuit des Pins route.

(18) At La Ville Rio, at the junction, turn left. Continue along the route for about 1.5 km.

(19) Turn right towards La Ville aux Beuroux, continue for 150 m and turn right onto Place des Voisins Sympas. Pass the farm and follow the MTB route signs for 500 m.

(20) Let the road curve to the right and continue straight ahead along the track. At the end of the track and at the junction with the road, turn right onto the D774 for 500 m towards Rochefort-en-Terre and the Étang du Moulin Neuf.

(21) Turn left onto a forest track to leave the road for about 300 m. Back at the junction with the D774, continue towards the pond by turning left. After 200 m, leave the road and join the path that goes round the pond. Keep the pond on your left and head for the Étang du Moulin Neuf car park (S/E).
