(S/E) At the cemetery car park, an information sign will show you the route (yellow markings). Follow the D9 southwards for 450 metres.
(1) Take the small tarmac road on the right for 100 metres until you reach a gate, where you’ll turn left onto a dirt track. Follow it straight on for 6 km to Notre-Dame de Garaison.
(2) At Notre-Dame de Garaison, stop for a moment and step into the inner courtyard to take in the view. Continue left onto the D34 for 300 metres until you reach a small cemetery on the left.
In front of the small cemetery, take the dirt track leading down to the left. Cross the River Cier. Carry on straight ahead at the next Fork in the road.
Shortly afterwards, turn left, pass a farm on the right and come out onto the small tarmac road.
(3) Turn slightly left and carry on for 600 metres.
At the edge of the woodland, take a dirt track on the right which goes downhill, crosses a stream and then goes uphill again.
(4) Walk alongside a pine forest on your left and the D24 on your right.
(5) At a crossroads, turn left onto the path that leads down alongside the fir forest. Stay on this path as it heads deeper into the woods and crosses the Cier d’Arpajan. You’ll come to a wide path.
(6) Turn left towards Monléon-Magnoac (3.5 km, yellow sign) onto a small road.
(7) Turn right onto the small road until you reach the first track on the left.
(8) Leave the road and take the grassy track on the left until you rejoin the road. Turn left and continue along this road to the car park (S/E).
