Parking is available in the car park of the church in Moigny-sur-Ecole, located to the left of the church when facing the façade. Access via the A6 motorway, exit "Milly-la-Forêt" (the last exit before the toll booth when coming from Paris).
The walk goes around the grounds of the Château de Courances, with the park wall on your left for most of the way, which is a handy landmark.

(S/E) In front of the church, turn right and then left to follow Rue du Moulin. Cross a dirt track on the left, note an old military marker with the number 21 on the right and continue along the street.
(1) Cross the École (river) on a wooden bridge and walk alongside the Moulin Grenat. Continue along a small road. When it turns right, leave it and take a path through the woods. Wind your way along the wall of the Château de Courances park on your left. Come out at the edge of a field and arrive at a T-junction (signpost).
Turn left and, after a short stretch through the woods, walk along a large lawn on your right (possibly a polo field). You will come out onto a small road. Follow it to the left. Turn right with the road and pass a gate with a view of the castle grounds (pond) on your left. You will come to Place Charles de Gaulle, a triangular square with an old wash house on your left and the Church of Saint-Etienne on your right.
(2) Turn left and leave the war memorial on your right. Turn left into Rue du Moulin and immediately right into Rue de l'Abreuvoir. At the end, turn left and follow the D901 road to the main gate of the Château de Courances.

(3) Leave theGR®11trail on your right and continue north-west along the road. Cross the bridge over the Ecole. At the fork immediately after, turn left onto a small road. As soon as possible, descend slightly to the left and follow the road below. You will come to a small wooden staircase.
(4) Then turn left onto a faint path between two meadows (not shown on the 1:25,000 map), with a hedge on your right. Further on, take a chicane to enter the meadow on the right. Return to the park wall and follow it to the chicane at the exit of the meadow. Continue straight ahead, ignoring the path coming from the right.
(5) At the next junction with Rue du Verger, continue straight ahead into Rue du Vaut. After a right-hand bend, turn left at a right angle between two walls. At the corner of a gate, ignore a path on the right and turn left. At the fork immediately after, take the left-hand lane. At the end of the road (a kind of roundabout), turn right towards some houses (do not enter the woods).
Start the educational trail dedicated to fruit tree varieties. You will come out onto Rue du Moulin, which you took at the start, with its information board. Turn right to reach the church and its car park (S/E).
