Park along the D948 a few metres from Rue de la Sablière and 200 m from a grain silo in the commune of Dannemois.
(S/E) Turn left onto the wide path towards the forest, heading north-west, and follow the yellow markings.
(1) At the signpost, turn left until you reach a four-way intersection. Turn right towards the forest and stay on the main path marked in yellow.
(2) At the end of the path, turn left almost 180° and begin the descent. At the three-way junction, turn right, head back towards the woods and take the second path on the left marked in yellow.
100 m after leaving the woods, turn left at a 90° angle across the field, heading back towards the forest. Continue through the undergrowth.
(3) Please note! 20 metres after leaving the woods, leave the yellow markings and take the small path on the left, continuing through the Bois de la Chapelle Sainte-Anne until you reach a wide path running perpendicular to it.
(4) Turn right, then, at the woods, turn left and follow the yellow markings again. Enter the village of Moigny-sur-École via Rue du Souvenir, veering slightly to the right.
(5) Turn left onto Rue de la Croix Blanche, then left again onto Grande Rue and immediately right onto Rue de la Fontaine Pouteau. Take the first path on the right, turn left then right until you reach a perpendicular street.
(6) Turn left onto Rue du Moulin, cross the École river via the wooden footbridge and follow the road (very little traffic) for about 200 metres. At a bend, take the path on the left, marked in yellow, which runs alongside the wall of the Château de Courances.
(7) At the edge of the woods, follow the yellow markings to the left and, at the end of this long lane, turn left again onto Rue du Petit Paris. Pass in front of Saint-Étienne Church and the wash house.
(8) Opposite the town hall and school, turn left onto Rue du Moulin, then immediately right onto Rue de l'Abreuvoir and then left onto the D901. In front of the main entrance to the Domaine de Courances, turn right and cross the castle car park.
(9) Just before the road, take the marked path on the left that leads into the woods.
(10) At the end of the path, at the wash house, turn left, cross the École river, then take Rue du Moulin à Huile and continue on Rue des Francs-Tireurs.
(11) In front of Saint-Mammès Church, turn left onto Rue de la Messe.
(12) Finally, turn right onto Rue de la Sablière and return to the starting point on the D948 (S/E).
