Park in the nursery car park.
Yellow markings
(S/E) Leaving the car park, head uphill along the Chemin des Pierres de Moulin to the Chemin du Castellet. Cross this road and descend opposite the Chemin du Pont Romain to the Chemin de Baume Robert.
(1) Turn right. Then climb the ramp on the left which leads to the start of the path to follow to the left towards the north. This path begins with a large rocky step and is quite rocky for a hundred or two hundred metres.
After the first climb, you will come to a small fork: the two paths join above, with the left-hand path being easier. The climb then becomes more regular and gentler in the Trucs gorge.
(2) At the junction, which is not shown on the map, follow the path on the right, which slopes to the left before joining a track.
(3) Take the track on the right and follow it to the oppidum, located behind the antenna.
(4) After finding the remains of the Roman walls and admiring the view, head back down the track.
(3) Continue straight ahead.
(5) Ignore the path on the left. Pass a pleasant spot next to a sheepfold, ideal for a picnic, and continue along the track.
Off the trail
(6) A few metres before the barrier, take a path on the left that descends to the Baume Robert chasm. After a metal shed, take the path on the right that leads to the entrance to the chasm.
(7) Then return to the main path, which further on joins the Chemin de Baume Robert.
(1) Take the Chemin du Pont Romain path uphill on the right. Cross the Chemin du Castellet and retrace your steps to return to the car park (S/E).
, but the view is incredible!
