Description of the walk

Guzet Neige resort car park: when you arrive at the resort, turn right at the hairpin bend and park near the water basin for the snow cannons near the chairlift.

(S/E) Walk along the water basin spillway and take the almost flat track that branches off to the right. Follow it until you leave the forest.

(1) Turn left onto theGR®10trail, which winds its way uphill. When you reach the Col du Picou de la Mire, continue straight ahead on the path that climbs uphill. Leave a path on your left.

(2) Just before tackling a steep section towards the top of the resort, take the path on the right along the mountainside (GR®10) and reach the Col d'Escots, with its mountain restaurant and chairlift.
