Description of the walk

Park at the edge of the track near the Col d'Escots chairlift, close to the restaurant.

(S/E) Head north, then turn right into the valley, passing under the chairlift. Descend into a summer pasture.

(1) Pay attention: about 100 m after a hairpin bend, turn right at a cairn (path not very visible, yellow and blue trail markings). Descend slightly in a zigzag pattern, passing under the spring (talweg with vegetation). Descend slightly, then after a few bends, continue descending gently well above the Papallau stream.
