The normal path, marked in yellow, starts immediately to the right after the car park. It leads to a staircase with a rope. The steps are uneven, slippery and difficult on the legs. For this reason, I prefer to start from the road.
(S/E) Follow the D 119 for about 100 metres and take the small road on the right. It is blocked a little further on by a green sliding gate. Pass through the pedestrian gate on the left and continue for 100 metres.
(1) Take the path that climbs to the left towards the south-east through the ferns. After a wide bend, the path turns south-west. Leave two successive paths on your right. Pass to the left of a shelter for cows and horses and you will come to a wide cross-path (signposts).
(2) Cross the path and climb straight up through the grass. Continue until you reach some beech trees and a small crossroads.
(3) Leave the widest path on the right and continue climbing straight ahead. Follow this well-marked trail, sometimes in the forest and sometimes in the open. At the edge of the forest, the trail climbs steeply, then passes between a few boulders and reaches the grassy slopes of Baïgura.
(4) Follow a path that winds through the grass to the road.
(5) There are two benches on the right and, opposite, in the bend, a small wooden staircase leading to the final ridge.
Follow it to the right until you reach the summit at 892 m.
(6) After admiring the magnificent panorama, retrace your steps.
(5) Take the north-east track which continues to climb to the summit of Erregelu (846 m).
This is where paragliders jump
(7) The trail then descends due east. After a few metres, which are a little steep, the slope levels out and winds its way through heather and ferns. You will come to a tiny meadow.
(8) Take a sharp left turn and head north until you reach a picnic area.
(9) Pass to the left of the tables and continue north on the path that winds through the ferns.
Keep left, ignoring the paths on your right, and follow the main path marked "retour base de loisir" until you reach the signposts.
(2) Turn right, in the opposite direction, and follow the path to the car park (S/E).
