Park at the Pré Raymond car park, which is accessible to all vehicles via Revel and Freydières. This car park is located after the Granges de Freydière. Please note that from the Quatre Chemins car park, the road is no longer paved (approximately 1 km). CAUTION: The forest path leading to the car park has become very rough, with a tricky section. For cars with low clearance, it is best to park at the end of the paved road and walk to the starting point (information provided by a visitor).
(S/E) The start of the hike is at the end of the car park.
Take the wide path on the right (south; sign indicating: Lac du Crozet, Refuge de la Pra). Continue south-southeast on this path, following the signs.
(1) At a fork, continue south (right).
(2) When you reach a fork, take the left (white and redGR®®549Amarkings). The path narrows and winds its way up through the forest. Follow this path until you arrive below Lac du Crozet, at the penstock.
(3) Just before arriving above the waterfall, take the trail on the left. This will take you to the best side of the lake.
(4) From the lake, return by the same route to the car park (S/E).
