Depart from the car park with the wash house on the banks of the Cisse.
(S/E) Cross the river on the D135 and climb up Chemin du Billieux opposite.
(1) Continue straight ahead. After the Billieux dovecote and the wing of Lieutenant Robert Jenkins' plane (an American fighter pilot who crashed on the edge of the Blois forest on 15 July 1944), go through a forest gate and continue along Chemin du Rain de la Berthelotière.
(2) At the crossroads, go straight ahead, heading north. Cross the Allée de Bégon, pass the place called Bissac and continue on the Chemin du Rain de la Berthelotière.
(3) About 600m after Bissac, at the three-way junction, take the path that descends to the left. Continue for 200m and at the intersection, take the path on the left that joins Chemin de Champigny.
(4) Take the grassy path opposite and follow theGR®353(red and white markings). Join a road and follow it to the right.
(5) At the crossroads, turn right and cross the Cisse on the D135. At the next crossroads, in Champigny-sous-Orchaise, take the road on the left (Chemin du Vieux Moulin).
(6) After the lake on your left, you will see a sign saying "Sentier exclusivement réservé aux piétons" (path for pedestrians only) with red and white markings (GR®353): turn right onto the Sentier des Herpines along the hillside (caves and springs near the path). At the crossroads (elevation 89), go down to the left to rejoin the road (Chemin du Vieux Moulin)
(7). After the poplar grove on your left, turn left and cross the Cisse. At Le Gué Taureau, follow the road to the right and then turn left onto Chemin des Coquine. At the fork that appears shortly afterwards, turn right, still on Chemin de Coquine.
(8) At Coquine, turn right down Chemin du Billieux. At the crossroads, turn right, cross the Cisse and return to the car park (S/E).
