Car park at the town hall in Barcelonne.
Yellow signposts
(S/E) From the car park, with your back to the town hall, take the Chemin de la Tour opposite, between the wash house and the fountain. Follow this uphill road, passing the chapel (on your left) and then the cemetery, until you reach a crossroads in front of No. 295.

(1) Turn sharp right, continuing to follow Chemin de la Tour. Pass No. 430, turning left, then stay left at the fork that follows. When the paved road ends, continue right on the path. You will come to a crossroads with a track; turn right and you will quickly reach a large esplanade.
(2) Turn right, cross the esplanade and continue straight ahead on the small path that enters the woods. The climb starts off gently, then becomes steeper in a more open and rocky area. The path veers left and climbs more steeply towards the tower, which is clearly visible.
(3) After enjoying the view, head east to the right of the tower and begin the descent. After the footbridge, ignore a vague path on the left that goes around the tower and continue straight towards the woods. At a crossroads, continue to the right and climb slightly. After a flat section, keep to the right to join a wide path marked Les Terres Blanches.
Yellow-green signposting
(4) Turn left onto the wide path and follow it for a little over 400 metres. Ignore a path on the left, which will be for the return journey, and continue for a few steps to reach the Gros Chêne crossroads.
(5) Continue straight ahead towards Chapelle Sainte-Marguerite (ignore the path on the right towards Combovin). Shortly afterwards, ignore a path on the left and, at the next crossroads, turn right to follow the path that climbs up to Chapelle Sainte-Marguerite.
(6) At the chapel, turn back along the same path until you reach the Gros Chêne crossroads.

(5) Continue for a few steps to reach the next crossroads. Turn right onto the path with the tower in sight. Walk along a field and, at the end of it, turn right at a right angle. Continue for about 150 m to find a crossroads. Turn left and follow the track that descends into the woods (not visible on the map). Further down, leave a trail on the right and left and then join a clearly marked fork. Go left (leaving the path on the right that descends towards a ford) and you will quickly arrive at a wide path. Follow it to the right, pass a gate and join the wide esplanade seen on the way there. Continue for a few metres until you reach the crossroads.
(2) Turn left onto the path and follow the same route as on the way there to return to the car park (S/E).
