Park at Place du Rochereau in Celles-sur-Belle.
(S/E) Walk up Rue du Rochereau. After about 250 m, at the junction, turn left and continue until you reach a Y-junction. Take the path on the right.
When you reach the hamlet of La Jusselandière, just after the first building, turn left at the crossroads onto the small road and carry on along the track.
(1) Turn right after the houses and carry on along this path, ignoring the paths branching off to the right and left. Stay on this path, which enters the Bois de Celles, until you reach a junction and take the path on the right.
(2) At the next crossroads, turn left and carry on to the small road, arriving at a sort of junction of small roads where the Talle à Teurtous, a remarkable chestnut tree, stands.
(3) Continue along the small road furthest to the right; then, at the next junction, turn onto the path on the right and carry on until you reach the Route de la Talle, where you turn left, only to turn right straight away into Rue de Pied de Cois for about 50 metres.
(4) Turn right after the first house, into a sort of tiny cul-de-sac. Turn left and continue along the Chemin des Plans until you reach a sort of crossroads of grassy paths.
(5) Turn left and continue along this track until you reach the houses in the hamlet of La Cour la Revétizon. Continue left along Chemin de la Cour la Revétizon until the junction and turn right onto the track. About 200 metres further on, at the junction with Chemin de la Haute Revétizon, turn left.
(6) Continue along the thuja hedge on your right until you reach Rue Louis Magneron.
Turn right onto the road, then immediately turn left onto the small road just before the house. Continue until you reach Route de Melle.
Turn right and continue carefully along the roadside verge, which runs alongside the stone walls, until you reach a rest and picnic area. Here, keep to the right and carry on until, at the end, you take the path that climbs into the woods.
(7) Continue to the left, crossing the small bridge, and turn immediately right into the grounds and gardens of the Royal Abbey. Walk straight on between the Royal Abbey and its French-style gardens. Be sure to admire the architecture of this magnificent building!
Leave the grounds and head down Rue des Halles to the right, until you reach the car park a little further on (S/E).
