Park in the parking spaces along the main street of Cabrières (D15) or in the cooperative winery car park.
(S/E) With your back to the cooperative winery, continue along the D15 for about 100 metres, then take the tarmac road on the right towards the Domaine du Temple.
(1) Leave the paved path on the right and continue along the tarmac road on the left.
(2) Take aPR® on the left which climbs up a steep, rocky path to the top of Soureille d'Izarne. Continue along thePR® ignoring the successive turnings on the left. Pass in front of a ruin and continue straight ahead.
(3) At the next fork, which leads to a vineyard, take a track on the left and follow it up to a stone block that must have supported a signpost.
(4) Take a path on the right running alongside a vineyard.
(5) At the end of the path, leave the path on the left and take the path opposite. Follow it straight ahead to Col du Terme, a flat area where several paths intersect.
(6) Take the path on the right, indicated by a sign prohibiting vehicle access. Continue along it until you come to a PR®.
(7) Take the path downhill on the far right, marked by a blue painted marker with the word "Lauriol".
(8) At this fork, leave the path to the small hamlet of Lauriol on your left and continue along thePR® without taking the track to the ruins of Tibéret on the right (or plan a return trip). Keep going in the same direction and pass the entrance to the Domaine du Temple by about 150 m.
(9) Turn left and then immediately right to take a track that initially runs parallel tothe PR®, then climbs away from it, before rejoining it a little further on. Follow it to the left.
(10) At this fork, turn right, leaving the marked trail, and continue to the private entrance of an estate.
(11) Continue along thePR® trail, walking along the top of a vineyard until you reach a signpost marked "Les jardins de Norbert". Turn right with the PR® trail.
(12) At the intersection, leave thePR® which continues to the right and take a small, very pleasant path opposite. They will cross again further on, with the option at this intersection to go up to the right towards the castle ruins. Continue along thePR® to the village, which you will reach via the Route des Crozes, which further on becomes Rue de l'Égalité.
(13) Turn right onto Rue de l'Église to reach the main road at the town hall. Turn right again and follow the road past the wine cooperative to return to the car park (S/E).
