A lovely cycle ride through vineyards and villages, taking in paths and back roads to avoid busy roads. In Ribeauvillé, you’ll need to cycle down the Grand Rue for a few dozen metres against the flow of traffic – please take care. A varied route with no difficult sections – well worth doing again

There are some lovely views all along the route. We set off from Colmar and joined the cycle route at Ingersheim. We were on electric bikes. We didn’t have a satnav and missed a turn-off after Turkheim, but we got back on the route fairly quickly. It’s a lovely route overall.

A beautiful route through vineyards and typical Alsatian villages.
Please note, there are some very steep gradients for cyclists.
We did it on all-terrain e-bikes with a GPS, so it was enjoyable.

A lovely walk from village to village through the vineyards!
The map was partially obscured, which made it very difficult to follow the route on the map.
