La Roche Sarrazine from Les Petits Fourgs du Haut

Park in the centre of the village of Les Petits Fourgs du Haut, taking care not to inconvenience the residents.

(S/E) Take Impasse de la Victorine to reach the crossroads of a forest path.

(1) Take it on the left and quickly enter the forest to reach the Potale de Notre-Dame des Buclés.

(2) Continue on and you will soon reach the GR®145 crossroads.

(3) Turn right onto the GR® and follow the red and white markings. Reach the western edge of Roche Sarrasine. Begin an easy descent to reach the crossroads of the hamlet of Sur la Roche.

(4) Keep left on the GR®, which is not very well marked here, and you will come to a developed area that also offers an interesting viewpoint.

(5) Turn right onto the GR® and walk down a slight slope. Leave the forest, pass Combe Maudry, then the hamlet of Les Sécherons, and you will come to a T-junction at Chemin des Bolets.

(6) Take this path on the right and at the next crossroads, leave the GR® trail on the left. Continue straight ahead on Chemin des Bolets, then enter the village of Les Fourgs, in front of the Centre d'Intervention des Fourgs.

(7) Cross Rue des Meraillis, then take the^{first road} on the left. Continue along Impasse du Châtele, then turn right onto Rue du Tillot to return to the car park in the centre of the village of Les Petits Fourgs du Haut (S/E).

(5) Enjoy the view, and if you are lucky enough to have good weather, prepare to enjoy an exceptional panorama. There are picnic tables and a small shelter, so you can have a picnic here.
