Park in Laruns near the police station on Rue de la Gare.
(S/E) Turn left, pass the school and then the swimming pool and continue on Route de Pau until you reach the first road on the right.
(1) Turn right onto the D240E, cross the Gave d'Ossau river and head towards the village of Béost.
(2) Pass in front of the Béost town hall. Take Rue Cap Dessus, which climbs up through the village between houses, alongside the town hall.
At the cross, turn left onto a gravel path that climbs uphill. Make a left turn and then a right turn at the stone bench. At the top of the path, join a road.
(3) Turn right onto this road. Then, 200 metres further on, turn left onto a small road that climbs uphill and arrives at the entrance to the village of Aas.
(4) Descend to the right towards the centre. Pass in front of the church, turn right and continue downhill.
(5) At the sign for the exit of Aas, take the path along a power line and descend. The path passes between low walls, is paved in places and ends up carved into the rock. Join a road.
(6) Turn right onto this road and enter the village of Assouste. Pass the church and descend on the D240 until you reach the exit on the right-hand bend, much further on.
(7) At a large house with a gallery, turn left onto a path between low walls, which descends through fields. Nice view of Béost. After 150 m, follow a wider path on the right which joins the centre of Béost at the fork you passed on the way there.
(2) Turn left onto Rue Cap Debat, cross the Gave d'Ossau river and return to the initial fork.
(1) Turn left to return to Laruns, police station Rue de la gare (S/E).
