Park at the Place de la Mairie in Laruns.
(S/E) Take Rue du Bialé, go up to the wash house, then continue on the right to the end of this street towards the old holiday village. You will come to a crossroads.
(1) Take the path opposite the road, signposted Cascade de Séris. Continue along the left bank of the Arrec de Lars on this path, which climbs steadily, gently at first but becoming steeper as you ascend. Follow the red and white markings and join the Pont de Séris.
(2) Cross and continue, staying on the recently revised markings. Climb more steeply, still in the woods on a stony path, until you reach another crossroads.
(3) Follow the markings, turning right to reach the waterfall.
(4) Descend via the same path. Take care in wet weather as the path may be slippery. Follow the same route as on the way up.
Alternative route: when you leave the woods, turn right to join Rue Barthèque, a street lined with houses offering superb views of the Pic du Ger. Follow this street, turn left onto Rue Plaisance, then right onto Rue du Général De Gaulle. Pass the Laruns media library before returning to the village square and the Place de la Mairie car park (S/E).
