(S/E) Leave the car park and head right towards Rue du Stade. Turn right and walk until you reach the junction with the RD63.
(1) Carefully first turn right then left onto the Chemin de la Gagnerie until you reach a bend.
(2) Carry on straight ahead onto a path that descends through the woodland and leads to a junction.
(3) Carry on straight ahead, then turn left for 200 metres, then right across the fields, until you reach the Landreau industrial buildings on your left.
(4) Turn left onto Rue du Landreau, then left again at the ‘give way’ sign. At the next ‘Stop’ sign, cross the road and continue to the Chapelle Saint-Joseph du Chêne.
(5) Turn left at the chapel. Turn left onto the first street (Rue de la Faucherie). At the roundabout, turn left, then, opposite, take the second roundabout. You’ll come to a meadow.
(6) Turn right. At the end of the field, veer left and head into the woods. Then take the path on the right to reach the Case d’Enfer. Carry on straight ahead until you reach the next tarmac road, called La Bonne Marie, then you’ll come to a junction with the path called La Petite Bellevue.
(7) Outside the hunting season, turn left, then right 200 metres further on, at La Louisiane. Carry on straight ahead (ignore any paths to the left or right) until you reach the village of La Nouzillerie, whose houses are situated beyond a wood. (During the hunting season, turn right and continue for about 950 m, then take the small dirt track on the right, opposite the isolated house after the Route de l’Aulnay Martin).
(8) Turn right and follow this path to the Étang de la Thévinière. At the next T-junction, turn right again to cross a stream.
(9) Continue straight on until you reach La Foye Moreau. When you reach the street of the same name, keep to the right until it ends.
(10) Turn left onto Route la Mailladière to reach the village of Villedieu-la-Blouère. Stay on this road until you reach the sports centre. Pass the first junction and you’ll come to a second one with Rue Johannes.
(11) Turn left, then carry on straight ahead along Rue du Christ Roi, at the junction marked by a cross. Where the street ends at the D762, take the small path opposite, heading towards the lake, and carry on straight ahead.
(12) Walk round the Étang des Lavandières, skirting its northern and eastern sides, then follow a second pond, continuing straight on along the same bank. At the junction on the other side, turn right and join a street. Keep left here, then continue straight ahead. Go straight on at the first two junctions, then turn left at the third to reach Rue du Grand Chêne and follow it to the right until you reach Rue des Mauges.
(13) Turn left, then right after the ‘La Genoise’ factory onto Rue des Brosses. Ignore the first cul-de-sac on the left, then you’ll come to a T-junction.
(14) Turn onto the track leading away from the houses and follow it to rejoin the path you took on the way there, at Landreau.
(4) Turn left and return to (3) via the same route you took on the way there.
(3) Turn left and go round the lake to reach the hamlet of La Bondussière. On leaving the village, turn left until you reach the T-junction.
(15) Turn right to join the RD63.
(16) Turn right and walk carefully along the road before taking the first path on the left, which will take you back to the Étang des Noues car park (S/E).
