Park in the car park on Place du Cimetière. The route is marked in red.
(S/E) The trail first passes through the arboretum, which has a collection of oak trees from around the world. Follow the path along the after-school care buildings. Cross the car park and turn right onto the path that goes around the back of the church. At the cross, turn left onto Rue des Cèdres, leaving the church behind you.
(1) Cross the road and take the first right towards Villedieu-la-Blouère. Leave the village, walking carefully along the road.
(2) At the Croix crossroads (you will notice the renovated farmhouse on your right, with its Italian influence), continue straight on for 500 metres towards Villedieu. Take the first dirt track on the right and continue straight on again. Go through the chicane and cross the woods. At the edge of the woods, follow the path on the right to the Barre farm, pass between the houses and take the road for about 200 metres.
(3) Take the path that runs along the woods on the left, then enter the woods and follow the path to the road at Croix des Étangs. Cross this road and continue straight ahead on the dirt track, lined with many different species of trees.
(4) Walk along the D246 on the left. After 200 metres, take the path on the right. Then, 200 metres further on, take the path on the left that runs alongside fields and hedgerows.
(5) At the crossroads, take the path on the right, follow it for 400 metres and then turn right again until you reach a road.
(6) Follow the road to the right for 100 metres before turning left onto a path lined with hedgerows. Follow it along the stream for 250 metres. Go uphill alongside the buildings of La Petite Moncouallière.
(7) At the silos, turn right along the fields, following the path that runs alongside the trees for about 400 metres until you reach a stony path. Then turn left.
(8) At the road, turn right and descend towards the village of Saint-Philbert-en-Mauges. After 200 metres, at the crossroads, turn left towards La Biottière.
(9) Just before the houses, turn right onto the path that descends towards the Ruisseau de l'Aronsière and go straight up to the village.
(1) Turn right, then right again before the church to reach the car park behind the cemetery (S/E).
