(5) Turn right onto this path and continue for about 100 metres until you reach a crossroads.

(7) Continue along the tarmac road and go up the road on the left towards the village.

Worth a visit

(7) Fontaine Saint-Maurice:the place owes its name to the presence of relics of the Coptic Maurice of Agaune, originally from Thebes (Upper Egypt), who is said to have been martyred under Emperor Diocletian at the beginning of the 4th century. His relics are now kept in the church of Saint-Robert. According to tradition, the fountain heals sick, frail or stunted children.

Saint Robert's Church: a former priory church belonging to La Chaise-Dieu Abbey. The nave was destroyed and only the choir remains, giving it its unusual shape. In the village, you will also pass by the 16th-century Verneuil Chapel.

The village of Saint-Robert was chosen as the setting for the television series "Des grives aux loups"(From Thrushes to Wolves), released in 1984.
