(S/E) From Place Wald-Michelbach, cross Rue Plus Noyé de la Pavotte and follow Rue de l'Empereur on the right until you reach the traffic lights. Then turn right onto Rue de la Tour heading south and cross Place Montléan.
(1) Follow Rue de Montléan to the left.
(2) Turn right onto Rue de la Folie to descend into the valley. At the crossroads, turn right, then left and then right onto the downhill path.
(3) Turn left onto the sunken path that follows the old railway line. In Roussat, turn left onto the municipal road, then take Chemin de la Brosse as it continues.
(4) Cross the D43 road to find the old railway line path opposite, slightly to the right. Cross the bridge and continue through the woods to the D373 road, cross it carefully and take the grassy path opposite.
(5) At elevation 157, near a small house, turn left onto Chemin du Bois de la Grâce. Descend to the D43 road and turn right, continuing for about 200 metres. Leave the road by turning left onto Chemin de la Grâce, which crosses the Ferme de la Grâce farm (please respect the property).
(6) Cross the bridge over the Petit Morin. Then take the first dirt track on the left towards the west. At Courbetaux, take the D43 road, Rue Georges Guyot, which is a continuation of the track.
(7) Turn right before the church to climb up to the plateau via Chemin des Morts. This path turns left at the end of the climb. At the fork, take the left path to reach and follow the edge of a small wood (elevation 185). The path reaches Fontaine-Essarts, which you cross by following Rue de Fontaine-Essarts, then Rue de la Source and finally Rue de Beaumont on the left.
(8) At the entrance to the industrial estate (elevation 198), turn left onto the grassy path leading down to the D373 road, which you cross with caution. Go up Rue de la Garenne on the right, at the top of which you turn left onto Rue du Petit Saint-Lazare towards the centre. Then turn left onto Rue de Montléan. Pass Rue de la Folie.
(2) Return to the crossroads you took on the way there.
(1) Continue straight ahead on Rue de Montléan. Then turn right at the first street, Ruelle de la Folie, opposite the hospital, to reach Place Wald-Michelbach, the starting point (S/E).
