Car park on Cours des Héros in Simiane-Collongue.
(S/E) Walk up the street towards the south.
(1) Turn right onto Route de Siège. After 150 m, turn left onto Chemin des Alludes. Continue to Chemin de Bedouffe.
(2) Cross it and follow the path opposite that leads into the woods. Be careful not to miss the path that veers to the right 150 m further on. You will arrive at the edge of the canal.
(3) Walk 300 metres to the right, then descend a track on the right.
(4) At the first bend, go straight ahead onto a path on the left. Walk 300 metres through a forest and old stones, which must be very cool in summer. You will arrive at Chemin du Château de Gui.
(5) Turn left. Enter the beautiful gorges, pass under the canal and continue up the track for 1,200 metres.
(6) Turn left onto a path that turns into a track a little further on.
(7) At the crossroads by the cistern, continue straight ahead for just over a kilometre. Keep going straight ahead. Arrive at Peycaï and enjoy the view at a small crossroads.
(8) Turn onto a path on the left, heading north-east. Continue for 600 metres, ignoring the paths on the left.
(9) Descend to the left into the valley and continue to the right for a kilometre until you reach the canal.
(10) Turn left and follow it for 500 metres.
(11) Turn right twice and arrive in the village. Descend between picturesque little houses. Arrive at Rue Jacques Manera and descend northwards to find the intersection you passed at the very beginning of the hike.
(1) Continue straight ahead and return to the car park (S/E).
