The starting point is the Simiane-Collongue town hall. Parking is easy nearby on the Cours des Héros or in the parking lot adjoining Rue Lambert.
(S/E) walk along the right-hand side of the town hall to reach the park, crossing it until you reach the Route de Siège (gate at the far left of the park coming from the town hall). Follow Route de Siège for a few dozen metres(caution: no sidewalk), then turn left onto Chemin des Alludes.
(1) Turn right onto Chemin de Bedouffe, pass the technical services building and take the unpaved path. After a good hundred metres, you'll find a starting point on the left, before the path begins to descend.
(2) Take the path to the left. This path leads uphill to the Canal de Provence. Reach a sharp left-hand bend a hundred or so metres before the canal.
(3) At this bend, take the narrow path on the right, which goes into the woods, then downhill until it comes to a small pond, which you must pass to reach the Chemin du Château de Gui, which you take on the left.
Follow the road past a few houses to a wooden fence (signposted ET16). Cross it and head for the canyon entrance.
(4) The path enters a canyon that narrows in its first part and then widens. Pass under the Canal de Provence and continue on this path, ignoring the paths on your left. Arrive at a crossroads with signposts.
(5) Take the left-hand path up to the plateau.
(6) Shortly after the green cistern, fork right and follow the path, ignoring all forks to the left. The section on the plateau begins with a view of the Luberon in the distance, and Éguilles and Bouc-Bel-Air closer by. It ends with a view of Sainte-Victoire and the Gardanne slag heap and chimney.
(7) At the crossroads, turn left to follow the gently descending path to the north-west, the first part of which offers unobstructed views. Ignore the forks on either side until you reach a rusty cistern.
(8) Shortly afterwards, take the path on the right.
