La Cochette via Les Moulins

Park at Place Opinel in Albiez Montrond.

(S/E) Head towards Albiez-le-Jeune (D80), passing in front of the primary school.

(1) Take Chemin des Crozets on the left and arrive at a crossroads.

(2) Turn right and continue to La Côte.

(3) Continue on the right to discover the ruins of Moulin Valentin: a round trip takes about 15 minutes.

(4) Retrace your steps.

(3) Keep to the right and follow the path, which winds its way through a series of bends, alternating between woodland and open terrain. You will reach a fork in the road.

(5) Continue straight ahead towards La Cochette. Pass the first house in the hamlet and continue for about 50 metres.

(6) At the corner of the barn, take the path on the left that goes straight up, then follow snowshoe trail no. 67, which climbs steeply towards Les Enversets. You will reach the junction with the Tour des Contamines trail.

(7) Take the path on the right to go completely around the summit and arrive at a crossroads at the foot of the cemetery and church.

(8) Head right, pass the cup-marked stone after the children's playground, then pass the town hall. Take the path on the right to return to the Place Opinel car park (S/E).

(5) At Bois du Nez, you can turn right down towards Les Moulins: a round trip of about twenty minutes. Then continue on the route towards La Cochette.
