The circular Chevalerie path in Livré-sur-Changeon

Park in the car park at Livré-sur-Changeon Town Hall.

(S/E) Turn right onto Rue Geoffroy^1er, heading up the street towards the grocery shop and the bakery until you reach the first junction.

(1) Turn right towards the cemetery (which is very well maintained).

(2) At the stop sign, cross the road and continue straight ahead.

(3) At a place called Le Champ du Teil, opposite the pond, take the path on the left and go past La Goutillais.

(4) (A little further on, you will see a path branching off to your right; if you take this, you can join the GR® and thus leave this walk). Otherwise, continue left along the road that descends towards the hamlet of La Chevalerie.

(5) Turn left to go to the Chapelle Sainte-Anne (or continue straight on to shorten the walk). This is a place steeped in history. As well as enjoying the picturesque hamlet of La Chevalerie, you can take the time to find out more about this building. Take the street on the left at the next junction.

(6) Crossing the RD794 is very dangerous, so please be careful! At the stop sign, cross to the road opposite and ignore the road on your right.

(7) Take the quiet road on the right. You are now in an industrial estate. (If you go straight on, you’ll shorten the walk by about 15 minutes.)

(8) Turn right at the junction, go round the industrial estate and then, when you reach the spot between the body shop and the childminder’s house, take the small path on the right between the trees.

(9) At the car park, turn left onto the stony path.

(10) When you reach the media library, turn right and, at the end, turn left and return to the town hall car park (S/E).
