Park in the car park at the Chosal farm.
(S/E) Take the time to visit the facilities around the farm and greenhouses and locate the map of the Land Art trail (PLAD) and the names of the installations.
Return to the car park and take the path along the stream towards the "coloured pencils".
Follow the stream, passing the cabin lodges and admiring some of the Land Art installations (clouds, planting, etc.). Reach the PLAD trail junction.
(1) Leave the rest of the PLAD on your right (boardwalk for the return trip). Turn left onto a small grassy path and go through a metal gate. This small grassy path climbs up and joins a road.
(2) Turn left towards Bageoles (farmhouse inn on the right). Continue along the road until you reach a crossroads.
(3) Turn 90° right uphill, then 100m later, continue right towards Châtillon.
At the church, take a small road on the right which continues straight ahead uphill, following the main road you left at the church. You will reach the water treatment plant.
(4) Continue around the treatment plant on the left, then turn left and enter a wood. Climb up to the cemetery, then take the road on the right. You will reach the entrance to Copponex.
(5) Take the path on the right that leads to a small wooden bridge visible from the road.
At the end of the path leading up from the bridge, in Copponex, turn right towards the church and pass in front of the town hall.
(6) Leave the road when it zigzags, in the right-hand turn, and take the road opposite (no entry) towards Prés Martin. After 100 metres, turn right. The path runs alongside a hedge of tall trees. Turn slightly left to cross the orchards towards Mézier.
(7) In Mézier, turn right and then immediately left to pass in front of the fruit cooperative towards La Vellaz. Walk along the road. Descend along the orchards on the right to reach La Vellaz (cross).
(8) Take the road on the left, then immediately take a path that descends to the right (barrier to prevent cars from entering), then take a very small path on the right to move away from the road as you descend.
Turn right onto a wider path which becomes a road after a few hundred metres. Pass under the high-voltage power line.
(9) At the crossroads, take the road on the left and descend towards Bageoles. Before reaching the farm, you will come to the crossroads you passed at the start.
(2) Turn left onto the small grassy path you took on the way there. You will come to the crossroads by the bronze tree you passed on the way there.
(1) Take the discovery trail on the left to reach the boardwalk.
(10) Take the path marked PLAD opposite. Follow this PLAD path zigzagging uphill past the Land Art installations, then follow it downhill. Cross the road and continue downhill on the PLAD to return to the car park (S/E).
