Park in the car park at the foot of the village of Savoillan.
(S/E) From the car park, head towards Toulourenc, cross the bridge, cross the D40 and take the small road opposite which turns sharply to the right to join the D41.
GR®91CWhite and Red markings
Continue on the D41, which joins the D40 after 200 m and becomes the D72.
(1) Leave this road after about 200 m and take the first tarmac road on the left that runs alongside a lavender field. 20 m after taking this road, don't miss a small shaded path that branches off to the right. It runs parallel to the D72 until it joins a tarmac road, which you take to the left. Continue along this road until the next intersection.
(3) At the intersection in Briançon, take the tarmac road on the right (south-east). It turns into a track. Cross a small stream and then a dry ravine. The track turns right, then leave it and take the shaded path on the left heading east
(4) It climbs slightly above a ravine. Continue along theGR®91C, which passes through fields of thyme, to the Toulourenc River.
(5) Cross the bridge, turn right and then follow the Toulourenc along the road.
Off the trail
(6) Leave the road 200 metres further on by taking a small road on the left. Follow this road and, at the next intersection, take the road on the right.
(7) A few metres further on, turn right onto a pretty little path that descends like a balcony with an interesting view of Mont Ventoux on the right.
(8) Join a road that leads immediately to the entrance to Montbrun, at the Sainte-Marie gate, which can be reached by taking the stairs on the right. Cross the village to join the D542, which you should take to the left towards Barret-de-Lioure, heading north-east, away from Aurel.

(9) About 60 m after the sign announcing the exit from Montbrun, turn left onto the small road that runs alongside a stream.
(10) At the intersection at the corner of a lavender field, turn right onto the track towards La Boucoule. Follow the Ravin de Trémoi. Continue on this path, which turns right and becomes narrower. After another left turn, descend to reach a new track near La Boucoule.
(11) Take the track on the left and leave it 200 metres further on for a path that branches off to the left towards La Niègle. Soon, Mont Ventoux appears on the left. Continue along this path, which becomes a track, until you reach the Toulourenc at La Niègle.
(12) Cross the Toulourenc and take the road on the left. Follow it for a few metres, then at the next intersection, turn right and follow the road uphill towards Vergol.
Yellow and redGRP® markings
(13) At Col de l'Aiguillon, you will join theGRP®. Leave the lodge on your right and continue straight on towards La Gabelle.
(13) At La Gabelle, continue on theGRP® trail, leaving the road and following the path on the left that leads back to Briançon.
(3) Return to Savoillan by retracing your steps (S/E).
