The starting point is at the Florensac cooperative winery. Easy parking is available in the winery car park.
(S/E) Walk up through the car park and turn left onto Avenue des Vendanges. You’ll soon reach the junction with Chemin de Picalaries.
(1) Take this road straight ahead, cross the bridge over the A9 motorway, then continue on to the Puech des Masques crossroads.
(2) Turn right, then walk round the water reservoir beneath the fir trees. You’ll reach a road running parallel to the motorway, alongside the vineyards.
(3) Follow the road to the left and walk through the vineyards until you reach the junction with the Chemin des Romains.
(4) Turn right onto this path, pass under a power line and, about a hundred metres further on, you’ll come to a crossroads.
(5) Turn left, walk through the vineyards, cross the Voie Romaine, and continue along a path to reach the Belvédère de l’Arse and its orientation table.
(6) Carry on straight ahead through the heath, following a circular loop to the left. You’ll reach a four-way junction.
(7) Carry on to the right, through the heath, until you reach another four-way junction. Keep straight ahead and follow the vineyards, then join a wider track.
(8) Follow it due south, passing under the power line, and carry on until you reach the Ancient Via Domitia.
(9) Cross it, then carry on straight ahead to reach the Domaine des Donzeilles.
(10) Continue due south until you reach the A9 motorway.
(11) Pass under the motorway bridge, then turn left. At the crossroads marked by the cross, a few metres further on, turn right onto the Chemin de Saint-Martin. You will soon reach the original crossroads you passed on the way out.
(1) Turn right and follow the route you took on the way out in the opposite direction to return to the car park at the Florensac wine cooperative (S/E).
