In Hasparren, take the D152 to the Zelhaia district. Just after the pelota court, take the road on the right. At the fork, turn left. You will reach the Route Napoléon and park next to the Garatekoborda farm (there are a few spaces on the side of the road).
(S/E) Take the cattle grid and immediately turn left onto Route Napoléon (D153).
(1) After about 1.5 km, in a left-hand bend, leave the road and go straight ahead onto a grassy track. This curves to the left, leaving another track that goes straight ahead. Cross another track and continue east-southeast.
(2) At the junction with the D152 (cross), take thefirst roadon the right. At the fork about 100 metres further on, go right. At the T-junction (water collection station), turn left. Head south and ignore one turn-off on the right and two on the left.
(3) At the crossroads, take the path opposite (south-west). Ignore the turn-off on the left towards Larraldea and arrive at the Mehaka farm. Pass between the house and the farm building. Continue to the next crossroads
(4) At the crossroads, turn left and then right to go through a gate.
At the gate, there is a sign saying "Private property".
Please note that mostPR® trails cross private property. There are rights of way on these paths. Close the gates properly to avoid any disputes with the owners.
For those who are unsure, according to a hiker, it is possible to continue along the cement track and then cross the Uharaskia farm to follow the road parallel to the path. A first path branches off to the right but leads to a fenced house with a closed gate. A little further on, before the left-hand bend, take an access road to a large meadow on the right. The slope is very steep, but you will rejoin the original path in the north-west corner of the meadow in the undergrowth, passing through a handmade gate in the fence.
Otherwise, follow the map and go through the gate and take the west-northwest path. Go through a first gate, then a second one with a sheepfold.
(5) At the sheepfold, turn right onto a path that climbs uphill (yellow markings have been redone in 2019). This stony path turns into a wide grassy track that winds its way through the ferns.
(6) At the crossroads, turn right and follow the yellow markings. Turn sharply left about a hundred metres further on and head due west, ignoring a path on the right. The path first follows a ridge and then joins the summit of Mount Ursuya (grass everywhere).
(7) Begin the descent heading north along the ridge. Pass to the right of a small rocky outcrop and you will come to a pylon.
(8) Then turn left onto a track that you will follow to the altitude of 438m, where you will find an old sheepfold that has now been converted into a dwelling.
(9) Leave the track, turn right and immediately ignore a track on the left. Follow a wide track east, then north and finally east. At a fork, continue straight ahead to reach the car park (S/E).
