Departure from the car park at the Tréhémont farm and stables.
(S/E) From the car park, take the wide forest path that quickly leads into the forest to the north.
Follow this path for about 1.5 km until you reach a large crossroads near a hunters' lodge.
(1) Turn right (east) onto theGR®®5F, a wide forest path.
(2) Ignore the path that branches off to the right, which will be the return route, and continue straight ahead until you reach the sign for "Tranchée de Justemont".
(3) Continue along this same path until you reach the next crossroads.
(4) Turn right (south-east) and after about 100 m, turn right again towards the south. Follow this forest track which passes under the high-voltage power lines, then narrows and crosses a forest plantation area.
(5) The road then widens and descends rapidly, winding through the forest to reach a paved forest road.
(6) Turn left and continue to the Tivoli Pond.
(7) Turn back.
(6) Take the Beuvange Forest Road, which climbs slowly through the forest to the Mal au Ventre spring. Continue for about 100 m to the Oubli spring and follow the forest road, which continues to climb gently, until you reach a crossroads.
(9) Take a wide dirt track on the left (signposted "FC de Vitry sur Orne" and "FC de la Neule"). After 100 m, at the sign for "Forêt Domaniale de Vitry-sur-Orne", turn right (west) onto a bridle path.
(10) At the crossroads, go straight ahead and do the same at the next one.
(11) The path turns right to join theGR®®5F(white and red markings).
(2) Turn left to reach the large crossroads you took on the way there.
(1) Turn left to rejoin the path you took on the way out, heading south, and return to the Tréhémont farm and stables (S/E).
