Departure from the library, next to the post office. Parking is available nearby or on Cours Saint-Étienne.
(S/E) Take the road down towards Versailles; do not follow the main road towards Lambesc.
(1) Turn left onto the gravel path that runs alongside the houses.
(2) Turn right when you reach the tarmac road. After about 100 metres, at the junction with the bins, turn left and continue straight on until you reach the junction with a main road.
(3) Cross carefully and continue straight ahead. From here, the road climbs gently... keep going. At the end of the road, you will reach the forest on the ridges of the Domaine de Caireval.
(4) Turn left for a short climb and you will reach an intersection.
(5) Turn left and head downhill! There are no difficulties here, but watch out for stones on the path and fragile ankles. Continue straight ahead when the path turns right. Further on, ignore the path on the right, then follow the right-angle bend to the right to reach a tarmac road. Continue straight ahead to join the D66.
(6) Cross carefully and continue on the path opposite, even though it looks like you are entering someone's property. You can walk around the house on the right and follow the path that then turns left. Continue along the dirt track through the forest.
(7) At the edge of the forest, you will see a panorama of fields with a path leading straight through them. Follow this path to the end, until you reach the district road. Enjoy the scenery.
(8) Carefully cross this road and continue opposite on Chemin de Traspigut, which is slightly uphill, until you reach the Saint-Marcellin Chapel.
(9) Turn left to visit the chapel, then turn back and continue the route to the left, rejoining Chemin de Traspigut. Then continue straight ahead. If it is hot, you can turn right at the next intersection. Just follow the tarmac road, which is a little hillier than the other but also more shaded. The two roads meet further on, so there is no risk of getting lost. After a climb, you will reach the D15 in Rognes.
(10) Take the road on the left to reach the town centre. You can also take the streets in the town for a more leisurely route. On Cours Saint-Étienne, turn left and go to the end to find the car park near the post office (S/E).
