Park in the car park of Silvacane Abbey on the D 561a at the eastern exit of La Roque d'Anthéron.
(S/E) From the car park, follow the road, staying on the path that heads east under the pine trees. Before the junction with the D561a, take the forest track (DFCI 221) that climbs into the pine forest (Forêt Communale de la Roque).
(1) Cross the small bridge over the Marseille canal. As you climb, enjoy the views of the Durance and the Saint Christophe basin, Lauris and Cadenet. You will pass cisterns 322 and, a little further on, 186.
Reach the crossroads with the Vallon des Pierres Rouges trail.
(2) Ignore this track and continue straight ahead. You will reach the junction with cistern 162.
(3) Take the track furthest to the right towards La Roque d'Anthéron. Pass under the high-voltage line and continue straight ahead. You will see the Rochers du Castellas opposite. Reach the crossroads at cistern 183.
(4) Take the track that heads south. Cistern 183 is on the left, towards the abbey. Stay parallel to the power line and continue to the junction with the Vallon de la Baume track.
(5) Stay on the yellow and green marked trail heading northwest. You will enter the Vallon de la Baume and arrive at the holiday village.
(6) Continue along the road to rejoin the Canal de Marseille.
(7) Cross the Canal de Marseille, join the D561a road, turn right to return to the Abbaye de Silvacane car park (S/E).
