Coming from Saou via the D136, turn right at Le Pertuis and park in the first car park on your right.
(S/E) Leave the car park and head back along the road to the left towards Le Pertuis.
(1) Turn left onto the signposted path, continue to the Pas de Lestang signpost and carry on, ignoring the turn-offs to the right.
(2) Turn left near a gate and head up the wide, unmarked path. Go round the houses on the left and continue uphill to a junction.
(3) Keep to the right and continue along this path. Pass the Berles’ house.
(4) Immediately afterwards, follow the yellow-marked path to the left as it climbs. After two hairpin bends, the path turns north-west.
(5) Continue along this path marked with a yellow line, which takes a sharp bend to the right (elevation 537) then describes a wide circular loop and leads up the steep climb through the rocks to the Pas de Berlhe, situated above the Petit Pomerolle.
(6) Follow the path to the right up a steep climb through boxwood, woodland and a grassy ridge to the Grand Pomerolle.
(7) Continue along the sometimes narrow path over the ridges, which winds up and down to the Pas de Jossaud.
(8) On the north-facing slope, follow the path, which descends gently at first before becoming steeper with a short climb back up to Les Berches. Reach the junction with a wide track.
(9) Turn left at the hairpin bend and continue the descent along this wide track.
(10) Pass the yellow-marked path on your right and take the track suitable for vehicles down the slope.
(11) Turn right for a few metres, then left onto a marked path leading downhill. As you approach the car park, turn right onto the small path that crosses the stream and head to the car park (S/E).
