Gissac walks
Circular Andabre route via La Colombarié
A short walk in the Rougier de Camarès at the foot of the village of Gissac and its castle. We are in the heart of the famous Rougier de Camarès, which has featured in television reports on several occasions. In fine weather, the scenery is beautiful and the tranquillity here is restful. Don’t be surprised to come across sheep; you are on their territory here.

Walk between Dourdou and historic Camarès
Pleasant walk starting from the centre of Camarès (you can also start from the leisure centre car park) along the Dourdou river, passing through Camarès "Ville haute" (upper town), the ruins of the old fortified town, the castle currently being restored, the rose garden, and enjoy the panoramic view from the old bell tower.
The Mont Grand circular loop from Versols
A half-day walk that takes you from the medieval centre of the village of Versols and its castle (dating from the 11th century, with 15th- and 16th-century additions) through pastures, heaths and forests to discover the panoramic views offered by the climb up Mont Grand (677 m). Return to Versols via Notre-Dame du Cayla, a local place of pilgrimage, believed to date back to the 12th century.

Circular walk in Camarès via the lake, La Garde and the Roman road
A walk suitable for everyone despite its 120-metre elevation gain. Along the route you will discover the Camarès water sports centre (in the summer season), its old streets leading up to the ancient castle, its monumental Virgin Mary statue, and its panoramic views of the village and the surrounding countryside.
Ascent to the pumping station starting from Ouyre
The walk starts from the Route de Camarès in Brusque, which passes through the hamlet of Ouyre. If you avoid days when there are pétanque tournaments, you’ll find a parking space at the side of the road.
Short route around the Dourdou in Brusque
A short family hike in the upper Dourdou valley, in southern Aveyron, where water meets stone and the slopes are stony.
But above all, it is the village of Brusque, from ‘bruscas’ (heather), crowned by the ruins of its9th-century castle on its rocky outcrop, with its winding alleyways.
Maliver Route
At the summit of Maliver (alt. 901m), there is a stunning viewpoint and an information board about the Haut Dourdou valley.
This route can be combined with the Dent de Saint-Jean route.

The Graouzou Aqueduct
At the start, the village of red sandstone offers a walk featuring medieval ruins and 19th-century buildings. The route is shaded by oak woods. The canal bridge halfway along the route now serves as a footbridge spanning the Graouzou.
