In Messigny-et-Vantoux, park at the coloured bench at the end of Rue des Vignottes, at the junction with Rue Combe Belle Fille.
(S/E) Head towards Combe Belle Fille until you reach the white path that descends from the village towards the valley.
(1) Take the path on the left and continue until you reach a 90° right-hand bend. Leave the white path and take the trail that goes straight ahead into Combe Prielle and follow it for about 1 km.
(2) Turn right to climb above the valley and you will soon reach a crossroads.
(3) Turn left onto the path, heading north-west.
(4) Take the path on the right and continue in the same direction, passing a path on the left and then two paths on the right.
(5) Turn left, pass a path on the right and continue to the crossroads after a collapsed wooden house.
(6) Turn left onto a path lined with fir trees. Then first turn left then right to head west and reach a star-shaped crossroads.
(7) Head left for about 100 metres, then turn right. You will reach a T-junction.
(8) Turn left until you reach a crossroads.
(9) Continue straight ahead and you will come to the D996.
(10) Cross carefully, turn right and continue for a few dozen metres, then turn left towards Sainte-Anne. Continue straight ahead to enter the woods and walk along the top of the Combe d'Arvaux.
(11) Turn left and head back down towards the village via the BMX stadium. Continue to the D996.
(12) Cross it carefully and continue straight ahead along Rue des Lavières. When you reach the pedestrian crossing, take the path on the left between the houses and return to the car park (S/E).
