Description of the walk

Park in the Bois du Prince car park near the Marcinelle leisure centre.

(S/E) Head towards the kiosk to reach the information board after the car park on the left. Follow the red signs. Go through a barrier and continue into the forest to reach an educational display on forest management.

(1) Stay on the well-marked path, turn left to access huge expanses of ferns on either side of the path. You will then reach a crossroads with four paths.

(2) Take the right-hand trail to head towards the Borgnery Quarry and its memorials.
